BioWashu's past can be traced to her early days in the Galaxy Academy. However, she was kicked out and imprisoned on Earth because of her radical and mostly dangerous experiments. About 700 years later, she was discovered by the residents of the Masaki Shrine. After her release, she became yet another member of the Masaki family, whom of which most of them are alien women with the exception of Tenchi, his father and his grandfather.
Washu spends her time on inventing new and useful things for the Masaki family, though a lot of her inventions end up getting misused by the other tenets. She has two small mechanical dolls that often boast about Washu. Which might be the reason why she's awfully egotistical. Because of her genius, she often makes cruel jokes with her warped sense of humor. She's very deductive, taking only one small glance and be able to tell many things about something or someone. She can also be very manipulative.
